Enjoy a different dinner each week. Listen to a 20 minute
shiur given by various members of the BAYT, then learn
with a chavrusa for 30 minutes. Weekly sponsorships
available.
TUESDAYBAT MITZVAH PROGRAMTuesdays, mid October until mid May
Time: 7:00pm
Location: Moshe and Mania Gruda Bais Medrash
Aspects of the program include learning Megillat Rut with
Rabbi Korobkin, developing a Dvar Torah, a leadership work-
shop, chesed activities, a holocaust awareness program, an art
activity, learning public speaking skills, and simcha dancing.
The program culminates in a beautiful celebration where each
Bat Mitzvah gets the opportunity to present her Dvar Torah.10

The Bar Mitzvah year
is an exciting one for
your son and the
entire family. It is a
year of spiritual and
physical growth.
This new program
will be offered to
all boys entering
grade 7, born in 2003.
The Bar Mitzvah program
will consist of Shabbat experi-
ences in our Middle School
Minyan, public speaking sessions, learning hilchos tefillin with
Rabbi Korobkin, and various chessed opportunities. There will
also be a special Father and Son social event. The program will
culminate with a special celebration for families, where the boys
will be able to highlight their skills.
The program will take place on Tuesday evenings and select
Shabbatot. Schedule to follow shortly. There will be an info
session on Tuesday, September 8th at 7:30pm at the BAYT.

doing? This is just the place. You can learn to tie knots, set up a
tent, shoot a bow and
arrow (archery). Have you
ever cooked a meal on a
campfire? Sent a secret
code to a buddy? Played
Ultimate? Hiked? Earn
rewards for doing these
things in Cub Scouts.

Children will learn the basics of self defense and martial arts and
will be educated about bullying while in a fun, healthy and safe
environment.
This martial arts program includes the 8 vital skills to healthy and
successful development: focus, cooperation, control, balance, mem-
ory, discipline, fitness and coordination.
These vital skills allow kids to maintain a healthy physical
lifestyle. This program also puts emphasis on fun training exercis-
es. Kids learn more when they’re having fun.

BOYS MUAY THAI KICKBOXING
MMA Mixed Martial Arts / Jui-Jitsu - 10 Week Session

In Muay Thai, hand, shin, knee and elbow strikes are used to create a highly
effective self-defense system and at the same time delivers an intense cardio-
vascular and full body workout.
The class is designed for those who want to get and / or stay _t while learning
an extremely practical form of self- defense.
Jui-Jitsu is a martial art and a self-defense system that focuses on grappling
and primarily ground fighting. It is a martial art that everyone can learn no mat-
ter your size or strength.
With endless positions and counter maneuvers, it is both physically and mental-
ly challenging. It will increase your focus, provides
stress relief and promotes mental fortitude.

& SELF-DEFENSE

Kickboxing is a physically demanding form of martial arts, focusing on striking
with nearly every part of your body.
With explosive energy required for every strike Muay Thai kickboxing quickly
puts even the most relaxed body into peak physical condition.
A single 1 hour workout burns over 600 calories. There is no workout like a
Muay Thai kickboxing session. This class will also concentrate on the basics
of self-defense needed in today’s society.

GIRL GUIDES – Continuous bi-weekly

Girl Guides of Canada, the organization of choice for young girls,
makes a positive difference in the life of every girl who experi-
ences Guiding, so she can contribute responsibly to her communi-
ty. The BAYT 613 girl guide chapter is the only shomer Shabbos
chapter in Canada.

BAYT YOUTH ICE HOCKEY – Continuous
Sundays, October 25th 2015 – March 13, 2016
Time: 8:15pm – 9:15pm
Age: Grades 1-4 and Grades 5-9
Location: Garnet A. Williams C.C.
Cost: $275 members $325 non members
Enjoy an evening of great hockey. Start off with some hockey
drills and then compete in three 15 minute periods. The teams
will consist of players from both grade levels. Younger against
younger and older against older on 2 minute shifts. Registration
includes reversible team jersey, water bottle, monthly raffles,
excellent on ice instruction and supervision, trophy and year end
banquet.
