1 – We use YouTube a lot during our coursework. The first thing we used it for was to research into existing soap operas and storyline to follow. This was a major part of our course, as research is key. To show how I used it for research, is evident in my blog where I have shown clips from YouTube. To upload a clip onto my blog you have to copy and paste the embedded code.

The screenshots on the following slides show how I uploaded a video onto youtube. First you select the clip you want.

You then can edit the names, titles, tags etc of your video. This is how it will appear on your screen and on youtube. You can also select options to upload to twitter at the same time, this shows how I tweeted my teacher links to my profile to watch my updated trailer.

Once uploaded onto YouTube you can view it like any normal clip. From this you can then upload the clip you want onto your blog by copying the embedded code and pasting it into the html section on your blog.
