learning, helping make YouTube the second largest search engine.

• More than 1 billion unique users visit YouTube each month • Over 6 billion hours of video are watched each month on
YouTube—that's almost an hour for every person on Earth, and 50% more than last year
• 100 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every minute • 70% of YouTube traffic comes from outside the US source: http://www.youtube.com/yt/press/statistics.html

What is Content Curation?
• Content curation is the process of collecting, organizing and displaying information relevant to a particular topic or area of interest.
• Services or people that implement content curation are called curators.
• Curation services can be used by businesses as well as end users.

Step 1: Get a Gmail Account
YouTube is a Google product and you need to get a Gmail account to get the most out of YouTube so that you can create a channel or playlist and comment on videosYou can’t use your ndsu.edu email address for your Google account. It is reserved for NDSU Google Apps for Education. YouTube is not included.

Step 2: Keep in the Know: Subscribe
• You can subscribe to YouTube Channels to keep informed of the latest uploads and news
• You will be notified via Gmail when new videos are uploaded

• Create or link to playlists
• Share videos or playlists by using a link, or you can embed videos in your Ag CMS site
