Tender Text, Interior Insulation 3

1. The present tender texts are a sample bill of quantities and make no pretentions to completeness

2. Use of these text modules does not release planers/users from the responsibility of checking the specifi c local features at the construction site and other regulations existing for fi re safety, etc.

3. Applicable technical and legal construction regulations must also be observed.

4. When the product is not specifi ed specifi cally, it shall be assumed that the system tendered is offered.

5. If materials other than those listed in the bill of quantities are used, it is legally obligatory to verify their equality with the materials described in the tender by means of analysis values (test reports from offi cially recognized testing institutes or equivalent verifi cations).

6. Before performing the described work, all required connections (such as pipe passages, windows, exterior doors, window sills; electrical installations, etc.) must be completed.

7. The subsurface must be dry, supporting and free of grease or oil; it must be ensured that the roof or wall has not been penetrated by moisture from the outside (e.g. driving rain).

8. On wall constructions, the vertical and horizontal barrier layer must function properly against penetrating or rising damp.

9. Insulation of half-timbered constructions is not included in this sample bill of quantities. For such purposes, it is necessarys to consider the applicable WTA data sheets or coordinate energy-related renovations projects on such structures separately with the product manufacturer.

10. It is not permissible for the temperature of the air or the structure to drop below 5 degrees Celsius during processing and curing of the Ytong Multipor insulating system.

11. The current applicable technical documents from Xella Deutschland GmbH (Xella insulating systems) apply for processing.
