Do you think science can be fun? Well, ask any of the Science Club mem-bers and they’ll tell you Science is fun.
Each month approxi-mately sixteen students meet in Ms. Bishop’s room after school to do a science project. They’ve made ele-phant toothpaste, volca-noes, and bubble solution and pipe cleaner wands.
Ms. Bishop loved sci-
ence when she was in school and she wanted to pass on that interest to Wil-son students. She loves that her science club student are excited and enthusiastic about learning and creating something using science.
Bubble Solution:
Mix 1 part liquid soap and 4 parts warm water in a bowl. Add a little sugar or corn syrup to the mixture to make longer lasting bub-bles. You can add food col-oring to make colorful bub-bles. Mix well without

Book Review Wonder
Author: Raquel J. Palacio
Did you ever wonder what it’s like to NOT fit in at school? In the book, Wonder, a student in the fifth grade goes to school for the first time and has a hard time fitting in with the other kids. Things get worse before they get bet-ter...He gets beaten up and mean notes left in his locker. You’ll have to read the book to find out how he gets through it all.

My Puppy
My puppy acts like a spoiled child, He chews my shoes and runs wild. He chases cats that sneak in the gate, Barks and howls oh, so late. And steals the food right off my plate!
But I am never mad or ugly,
Because he’s so cute and oh, so snuggly. I treat him as if he were my baby, Will I always feel this way...maybe. Written by: Mrs. Dierking
