YEA Technical Weekend

Are you or your company looking for technical training opportunities? YEA Technical Weekend is an opportunity for YEA members to come together for a weekend of Energy Management courses, technical tours, and networking. This event will be held March 25th -26th, 2017 in Atlanta, GA and features the professional development seminar:

Effective Energy Management in New and Existing Buildings Instructor: Richard Pearson, P.E. , Fellow/Life Member ASHRAE

This course weaves together energy management principles of the ASHRAE Handbook-HVAC Applications, Energy Star Guidelines, and practical experience of successful energy managers. Numerous case studies are discussed, including a hospital, high-rise building, bank and convention center. Together, these successful examples demonstrate how to take advantage of the Energy Star “Portfolio Manager” for documented performance tracking and national recognition as an “Energy Star.” The seminar will be broken into two 3 hours course held in the morning followed by technical tours in the afternoon.

This event would also serve as a great resource for any YEA members participating in the ASHRAE ES Career Enhancement Curriculum.

Registration is $400 and includes hotel accommodations for Friday and Saturday, meals during the event and all necessary materials and resources.
