Resume
Alagawany is the Associate Professor of Poultry Nutrition and Physiology at the
University of Zagazig. His research interests are in feed additives, metabolism, herbal plants, immunity, and feed formulation and feed manufacturing. He co-ordinates postgraduate teaching in Advanced Poultry Metabolism, Advanced Poultry Nutrition,
Rabbit Nutrition, Amino Acids in Poultry Nutrition, Feed Technology, and Mineral Elements Metabolism in Poultry. Alagawany is associate editor of the Revista Brasileira
de Zootecnia and South Asian Journal of Life Sciences. He is a member of the Editorial Board of many international journals such as Advances in Animal and Veterinary Science, Turkish Journal of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Universal Journal of
Agricultural Research, and Revista Brasileira de Zootecnia. Alagawany also is a founder member in International academy of biosciences. He is a reviewer in the Turkish Journal

Aware of using lab basics facilities, devices, chemicals…etc.
My practical awareness increased by going to seminars, visiting research centers,
training courses, hosting teachers from different universities..etc.
Trained on most newly advanced techniques in the field of analysis of feed stuffs.
Participate in cultural activities organized by the commission for students and
other members of the faculty at the college and university.
Teaching the practical sections (laboratory practical, computer practical, round
and table discussion) to the department B.Sc. students about animal and poultry
nutrition and metabolism for feedstuff in the poultry and how improvement the
economic efficiency for the poultry.
Participating in the department projects and assisting my companions in the lab
with their thesis.
Participation in the preparation of various scientific instruments that serve the
educational process.
Preparation and supervision of the students at the annual scientific training flights
(summer training) for students of the fourth stage.
Cary out the chemical analysis of feedstuff in my department lab, such as protein
analysis, ether extract, crude fiber, nitrogen free extract determination, ash
analysis, fiber fractionation, amino acids analysis by amino acid analyzer,
digestibility determination, nutritive analysis, mineral determination, biochemical
blood parameters,…ect.
