Wird das Öl ranzig, z.B. an warmen Tagen, schmeckt auch der frischeste Kaffee nicht mehr. Dann verhilft eine Zwischenreinigung wieder zuungetrübtem Kaffeegenuss.

SchnellreinigungMahlen Sie kurz einige Körner rohen, ungekochten Reis. Das löst Ölrückständedes Kaffees im Mahlwerk auf die beste und umweltfreundlichste Weise. Ein paarBohnen hinterher mahlen und schon ist die Mühle wieder einsatzbereit für duftenden Kaffee oder Espresso.

Die richtige Pflege Ihrer Gewürz-, Pfeffermühlen mit Keramik MahlwerkIhre Mühle mit dem original Zassenhaus Mahlwerk aus Hochleistungs-Keramikist besonders pflegeleicht. Sie braucht für die Reinigung nicht aufwendig ausein-andergeschraubt werden. Bei eventuellen Verklebungen des Mahlwerkes (z.B.durch bunten Pfeffer), füllen Sie etwas grobkörniges Salz in Ihre ZassenhausMühle und mahlen es kurz durch. Das Mahlwerk aus Hochleistungs-Keramiksowie die Spindel aus Edelstahl werden durch das Salz nicht angegriffen.

Pflegehinweis für KüchenholzwarenSchneidbretter und Küchenholzwaren aus Holz sind ein Naturprodukt und benö-tigen keine besondere Pflege.Dennoch empfiehlt es sich, die Bretter wie folgt zu behandeln:Nach dem Gebrauch feucht abwischen und alle Speisereste gründlich entfernen,die nassen Bretter aufrecht stehend trocknen lassen. Dabei ist vor allem wichtig,dass die Raumluft ringsum das Brett zirkulieren kann, ansonsten verwerfen (wölben) sich die Bretter. Weil die meisten Bretter aus technischen und biologi-schen Gründen nicht aus einem Stück bestehen können, sondern je nach Breiteein- bis mehrmals verleimt werden müssen, dürfen diese auf gar keinen Fall inder Geschirrspülmaschine gereinigt werden.

The correct maintenance of your coffee and corn millsYou should clean your mills at least once a year because in the course of the timeoil contained in every bean settles on the grinding mechanism. If the oil becomes rancid (e.g. on warm days) the freshest coffee no longer tastes good.An intermediate cleaning restores a tasty coffee flavour.

Express cleaningGrind a small amount of raw peppercorns or uncooked rice. This dissolves oilresidues of coffee in the grinding mechanism in the best and most eco-friendlyway. Grind some beans afterwards and the mill is already ready to prepare aromatic coffee and espresso.

The correct maintenance for your spice and pepper mills with ceramicgrinding mechanismYour mill, equipped with the original Zassenhaus grinding mechanism made ofhigh quality ceramic, is particularly easy to clean. You do not need to completelydisassemble your mill. In case the grinding mechanism gets clogged up (e.g. coloured pepper) fill some big salt corns in the mill and grind for a shortwhile. The grinding mechanism made of high qualtity ceramic and the spindlemade of steel will not be damaged by the salt.

Care instructions for wooden kitchenwareWooden carving boards and kitchenware are natural products and do not needany particular care. However it is recommended to handle them as follow:After use, wipe with a wet cloth and remove all leftovers, put the wet boardsupright and let them dry. This is essential to let enough air around the boardotherwise the boards can warp. For technical and biological reasons the boardsare not made of one single piece but of one or many pieces glued togetherdepending on the size, they should by no means be put in the dishwasher.
