place to analyse wastewater and sludge samples.

• Main lab is responsible for performance of sub-contracted labs.

one document.

ü Information previously presented in ZDHC Wastewater Guidelines with some

necessary improvements.

ü New information regarding ZDHC specific DQI’s, DQO’s and reporting.

• The SAP is to be used in combination with ZDHC Wastewater Guidelines (WWG).

● There are 3,200+ wastewater test reports on

ZDHC Gateway Wastewater Module

● Programme & Task Team have:

○ Review & analyse test data in different

aspects and in different angles

○ Found it difficult to analyse & draw

conclusion from results

● Therefore, data quality is the key moving

forward.

● Test Reports submitted in the Gateway between Nov 2017 – April 2019

● Analysed for different purposes such as Impact Reporting, Task Team Work, etc

Analyte is usually left blank instead of choosing

the correct drop-down item in Gateway.

or “Standard Test Method” in Gateway

(ADEC will need to run tests on the system to ensure speed for data

transfer and validation speed can be ran at an optimal level)

AUTOMATIC CHECK OF DATA CONSISTENCY BEFORE ACCEPTING THE DATA ONTO THE SYSTEM

HAS DATA BEEN ENTERED ACCORDING TO THE STANDARDISED DATA RULE?• Correct and complete entry of ALL analytes

• In case certain analytes are not analysed, need to provide reasons for not testing

• Correct use of decimal points

• Correct number significant figures in test results and reporting limits (maximum 3 s.f.)

• Correct entry of units

MULTIPLE TESTING LESS THAN A 3 MONTH GAP?• System will flag up that this is the case

• Actively ask the lab/suppliers if they want to upload this round of test data (but not

blocking the upload)
