Steps Key Points PicturesDo no power edge along paver surfaces or black topunless specifically instructed to.

1) Verify that the turf has already been mowed. If edges have not been edged before or are unusually long it may be necessary to edge before mowing.

2) Start edger with the blade set in the edge3) Hold the edger so the wheel rides along the curb/walk Hold the edger trigger with your right hand and the

handle with your left keeping the entire edger on yourright side while using it.

4) Keep the blade against the hard surface as you walk Listen carefully while edging to ensure that you can hearthe blade scraping against the hard surface.Be extremely careful not to hit any irrigation heads

5) Repeat 3 and 4 for all edges.

6) Clean up If necessary use a sod spade and bucket to scrape upany large pieces of edging. Use the blower to blow clippings from mowing and edging back into turf.Ensure when clean up is complete no large pieces ofgrass or sod debris is laying on the top of the turf.

7) Step back and review that work is professional
