Acouplingisprovidedasthetopconnectionofthebypasssysteminathreadmatching

yourproductiontubing.Thecouplingconnectstoeitherthe3-1⁄2”NewVampinbypinpup

jointfromtheY-blockortoapinbypincrossoverifothertubingsizesortypesarerequired.

Theadvantageofhavingtheuppermostconnectionconfiguredasacouplingisthatitis

easilyreplacedshoulddamageoccurduringmakeupontherigfloor.

Thecouplingcomestorquedtothebypassassemblyandisfullypressuretested.

The swivel nipple assembly enables make-up of the bypass tubing to the bypass sub-

assemblyandprovidesapolishedsealboreintowhichtheblankingplugisinstalled.

Thepolishedsealborewillalsoaccommodatetheisolationsleeveusedduringbullheading

operationsaswellasbothwirelineandcoiltubingplugsutilisedduringloggingoperations.

Theswivelnippleincorporatesapositivelockingfeaturetopreventback-offdownhole.

theESPassembly.Thetubingismanufacturedwithflushjointconnectionstomaximisethe

sizeofthethrough-bore.

Standardlengthsare15ftand7-1⁄2ftwhich,whenusedwiththeZenithSaddleassembly,

ensurethatthesystemcanbeinstalledirrespectiveoftheESPassemblylength.Note:itis

recommendedthataminimumofone15ftlengthofbypasstubingbeinstalledbelowthe

ZenithSaddleassembly.

Thestandardblankingplugisheldinthenipplewithlanterncollets.Theplughasanequal-

isingfeatureallowingretrievalwhenhydrostaticpressureexistsabove.Theblankingplug

withlanterncolletsisnotsuitablefordeploymentoncoiltubingorwhenwellsarenaturally

freeflowing.

A lockingblankingplug,havingapositive lockmechanismtoholdtheplug inthenipple

profile,isavailableforuseinfreeflowingwellsorwhereitisnecessaryfortheplugtobe

retrievedandinstalledusingcoiltubing.

Note:lockingblankingplugsrequireapullingtoolwithaspecialcoreforretrievaloperations

ofthebypassjointsontherigfloor.

Thebypasssupportclampisusedtotaketheweightofthebypasstubingwhilstitismade

uptotheswivelnippleassembly.
