natural gas may sound like mag-ic. It certainly is not easy and is a highly com-plex process with many stag-es. But it can be done thanks

to some brilliant minds, innovative technologies, and be-cause Shell had the confidence to invest in the vision of revolutionizing lubricant performance.

In the 1970s, Shell began to look at other sources of energy besides crude oil. Based on an abundant worldwide supply of natural gas, Shell began study-ing it for the many opportunities natural gas presents to develop a full synthetic motor oil.

Natural gas is also very clean and es-sentially free of many of the contaminants found in crude oil. When you start with pure natural gas, you end up with a base oil that is purer than a base oil made from crude oil. Shell calls this PurePlus™ base oil, and the process by which Shell

creates this pure base oil is called Pure-Plus™ Technology. The revolutionary process of taking natural gas to build the exact motor oils Shell wants is the biggest breakthrough in synthetic oils in 40 years.

PurePlus™ Technology turns the pro-cess of creating Full Synthetic motor oils upside down. Rather than refining long-chain molecules from crude oil, PureP-lus™ Technology builds bigger molecules from much smaller ones. Doing so gives Shell a base oil that is 99.5% pure. When combined with Shell’s high-performance additives, they get Pennzoil Platinum® and Pennzoil Ultra Platinum™ with Pure-Plus™ Technology, Full Synthetic motor oils designed for complete protection without compromising any one area.

a shovel in the ground it is a free ser-vice designed avoid damage to under-ground utilities and make sure you and your equipment remains safe. 2. $200 rebate for upgrade from <90% to 95% or higher AFUE efficient nat-ural gas furnace

3. $200 rebate for upgrade boiler/hy-dronic heating system to 0.82 or higher EF

4. $1000 rebate for upgrade from electric resistive heat to gas forced air heat, AFUE 95% or higher
