CORPORATE OVERVIEW Zilka and Associates, Inc. is a client-focused full service Architectural, Planning and Interior Design Firm Located in Cheswick Pennsylvania and Practicing in multiple States. Established in 1996 by Perry Patrick A. Zilka its chief architect and president. We are a small business which believes that strong client representation, teamwork and consistent communication result in the most effective designs. To bring the experience required to meet these objectives, the President of the firm actively participates in each project from conception through completion. This high level of personal involvement ensures that the standards of performance at Zilka and Associates, Inc. are met or exceeded, and that each phase of the project proceeds in an orderly manner to a timely completion within defined budget guidelines. BASIC FEE STRUCTURE Zilka and Associates, Inc. fee structure is much more competitive than the larger Architectural and Professional Design Firms, for superior quality of service. If the scope of the project or the Architects and Engineers Services is changed materially, the amounts of compensation shall be equitably adjusted with Owners approval. For Additional Services of the Architect’s and Engineer’s compensation shall be based on the hourly rate as listed in the Fee Structure below. If Scope of Services can be established, the Architect can quote a cost not to exceed or also billed based on these hourly rates as accrued. 2016 Architectural and Interior Design Fee Structure:

Principal / Senior Architect - $125.00 per hour. Architect Level 2 / Senior Project Manager - $110.00 per hour. Project Architect Level 2/ Senior Project Designer - $95.00 per hour. Architect / Project Architect Level 1 / Project Manager - $85.00 per hour. Interior Design Level 2 / Architectural Designer Level 2 - $80.00 per hour. Interior Design Level 1 / Architectural Designer Level 1 - $65.00 per hour. Production Technician Level 2 / Cad Draftsperson Level 2 - $55.00 per hour. Production Technician Level 2 / Cad Draftsperson Level 2 - $45.00 per hour. Staff Field Surveying / Shop Drawing Processing - $45.00 per hour. Clerical / Administration / Printing - $32.00 per hour.

Zilka and Associates works with very reputable and respected Consulting Engineering Firms, we can also solicit a project quote from these Engineers or they can provide services on an hourly fee plus expenses. See fee schedule below.

2016 Consulting Engineers Fee Structure:

Structural Engineer - $95.00 per hour. Senior Site/Civil Engineering - $115.00 per hour. Landscape Architect and Site/Civil Associate Engineer - $110.00 per hour. Site/Civil Associate Designer - $85.00 per hour. MEP Engineering Principal - $135.00 per hour. Senior Mechanical / Plumbing / Electrical Engineer - $95.00 per hour. Mechanical / Plumbing / Electrical Engineer - $85.00 per hour. Senior Mechanical / Plumbing / Electrical Designer - $80.00 per hour. Mechanical / Plumbing / Electrical Designer - $65.00 per hour. Technician / Draftsman - $45.00 per hour. Clerical / Administration - $32.00 per hour.

Reimbursable Expenses:

In addition to the Architect’s compensation, the Architect shall be reimbursed for expenses incurred in the interest of the project, plus an administrative fee of Five percent (5%). Reimbursable Expenses will be included in the Zilka and Associates, Inc. scheduled invoicing as accrued.

Project Document Cad Plotting, Reproductions, Printing and Copies. Postage and Handling of Documents and Samples. Basic Travel Expenses for Staff and Consultants. Agency Fees Paid on Owners behalf.

Zilka and Associates, Inc. has designed quality small manufacturing facilities in light industrial applications which combine office and plant into a harmonious and efficient design.

These projects generally range from 20,000 sq. ft. to 100,000 sq. ft., most utilizing pre-engineered building systems and structures. Multiple materials are used for exterior facades such as masonry, stucco, vertical or horizontal sidings, curtain wall systems, break metal and exposed steel features.

Zilka and Associates, Inc. use Autodesk Revit, AutoCad Architectural Desktop Cad software with the capability of 3-D modeling. However, we are still committed to the traditional artist rendered perspectives and sketches when desired.

Our Consulting Engineers utilize Autodesk Mechanical Desktop, Revit and AutoCad Add-ons for ease of file sharing and coordination.

We utilize the standard practice of creating PDF viewable drawing files for distribution of progress submittals and bid documents.
