Changes

• Research Section – From Cognitive Walkthrough and User

Testing, users were confused with the Answer/Edit button

– Redesigned the page so that it follows a more standard format with a two-column format and text boxes for each question.

Flexibility and Efficiency of Use & Visibility of System Status

Changes (continued)

• Log in – From critiques in discussion, it was suggested

that people might want to go back to look at their previous researches or interviews.

– So we added an optional log in system which will allow people to save their previous work, and resume a task not finished

User Control And Freedom

Changes (continued)

• Navigation Bar – From the Design Review, people wanted to

see a sitemap or an outline of where they are

– Navigation bar on the left so users can see their progress through the system and can easily change to a different section

Visibility Of System Status

Changes (continued)

• Save Voice Recordings – From User Testing, the user did not see this

option until the bottom of the page.

– We removed the additional page for saving voice recordings, and put the saving links onto the Evaluation page so people can save each recording during evaluation instead of at the end.

User Control And Freedom

Changes (continued)

• Re-recording Voice Recordings – In User Testing, a user said that she wants to

be able to re-record her voice recordings.

– We added this option to keep consistent with the text boxes because users can edit typed answers, so they should be able to edit voice recordings.

Consistency and Standards &User Control And Freedom

Changes (continued)

• Message Board – In Task Analysis and Design Critique, users

have said they want to hear opinions from other people regarding interview experiences or wardrobe suggestions

– So we will add a message board for all users with a log in so they can share information
