Dear Zion Church Family, Your prayers and financial support have been greatly appreciat-ed for my coworker’s family. The comforter was loved as soon as I brought it through the door. It has been a difficult couple of weeks but seeing the love for a family you've never met has meant so much to them and to me. Thank you. — Mary Masingila

Campbell Farms have donated the begonias that are planted in the flowerpots on the Church patio.

This weekend, the PNMC annual gathering was scheduled to meet in Seattle, Wa. Though the plans were disrupted due to the CoVid19 pandemic, we are still God’s people, connected by the Spirit in ways we do not always understand. Together and apart, may we be a community of gratitude, worshiping together, giving thanks together, and knowing that through the Spirit, God makes us one.

Bill, Jana, and Jodi are available in their church offices on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9:00am--noon. Social distancing guidelines are in place for the church offices. Church facilities will remain closed to all activities, meetings, or gatherings.

Stephanie Moyer thanks everyone for their prayers for her par-ents, Sharon and Dale. Sharon was able to be discharged early from that rehab at Marquis and has been at home. Your prayers are appreciated for the family as they continue to make decisions about care for Sharon and Dale.

—We give thanks for opportunities to share our wealth and resources in mutual aid with needs in our congregation and com-munity.

—We give thanks and offer prayers of health and safety to farm workers who are keeping food on our tables, daily doing back breaking work in our fields and orchards. Everyone needs food to stay alive.

—We give thanks for companions on our journey, for the net-work of care woven between congregations, for the resources of our denomination. We are grateful that we are not alone.

A prayer to carry though the week: “Gratefulness grounds our lives in the world and with others, always locating the gifts and grace that accompany our way…to be grateful in these days is an act of resistance, of resilience, of renewal.” Diana Butler Bass
