Description of Connection Cable

Cabl ing The ZNNC MP-R188W-95-NC1T-B camera uses AC24V/DC12V power supply. The external cables to be connected involve power supply cable, protective ground cable, straight-through network cable and digital quantity collection cable.

Cabl ing Requirements 1. Cables to be laid must be protected with casing pipes, such as PVC

pipes, PVC troughs, metal tubes, serpentine pipes or winding tubes.

2. If the floor in the room is antistatic, the cables are suggested to be laid under the floor. If there is a cabling rack in the room, the cables can be wired along the cabling rack. If neither is available, the cables should be laid along the wall foot or wall top.

3. If cables are laid on the cabling rack in the room, you can lay the cables based on the existing layout principle. If the original cable is not equipped with a PVC tube or trough, it is generally suggested to use protective casing.

Note:

When wiring in a cable pipe or cable casing, do not lay too many cables in it. 30% of the space should be reserved.

11. North Reference

The dome can rotate continuously 360º horizontally. It is marked with 0º to 359º. Select a specific angle as the North reference direction. The angle can point to an important target or a reference benchmark with recognition significance. Save this benchmark as 0º, and other angles will be represented on the basis of this benchmark.

12. Password

The dome has password protection which can be enabled or disabled. If the password protection function is enabled, you must enter the password each time when accessing the menu. There are two kinds of password: user password and superuser password. The superuser password is a 10-digit number string generated by the SN. of the dome core. It is unique and cannot be changed. The user password is a 6-digit number string which can be set by the users. The superuser password is generally not available to the users. If a user forgets the user password, he/she can apply for a superuser password from the manufacturer.

Questions about the Installation Question 1: What is the power requirement for the dome installation?

A: It is recommended to use a transformer with the power supply of AC 24V or DC 24V.

Question 2: What is the length of the AC 24V power wire and what is the requirement for the cable?

A: Normal power wires have certain wire resistance and may have internal loss during voltage transfer. The longer the power wire and the smaller the wire diameter, the greater the internal loss would be. To avoid the under voltage caused by the loss of transmission , the proper diameter and length of the wire is required for the wiring. When the wire diameter is certain and the voltage loss rate of AC 24V line is lower than 10%, the present distance is the recommended maximum transmission distance. The relationship between the AC 24V wire diameter and the transmission distance is as shown in Table 14.
