ZOO FIELD TRIP REMINDERS Friday, April 10, 2015

Please help us make this trip a fun, learning experience

by discussing the following guidelines with your child

1. Have your child wear enclosed shoes

(sneakers/tennis shoes). We will be doing a

great deal of walking and dont want hurt feet/toes to hinder all the fun we will be having.

2. Have your child wear comfortable clothing

that is easy for them to independently handle

during restroom breaks.

3. Remind your child that due to time limits, we will not

be able to play on any of the playgrounds or ride the

train. Sorry! 4. There is no need to send money with your child. We

will not be purchasing any gifts, food, etc. at the zoo.

5. If your child has a tendency to get motion sickness

please let me know so I can place them toward the

front of the bus.

6. It is VERY important that your child stay with the class

and/or their group at all times.

7. If your child signed up for a home lunch be sure to

pack it in something that can be handled easily. I will

send a couple of reminders (stickers) this week

indicating the lunch you marked on the permission

form.

8. There is no need to send a snack. I will pack snacks

(animal crackers) for us to eat on the bus right before

we arrive.

9. For parents attending the field trip please let me

know if you are checking-out your child when we

begin to load the buses. I will make sure to direct you

where to sign your child out.
