Oil resistant (petrol and Keratone), waterproof, highly durable and skid resistant are just some of the essential requirements of a car park floor. Corridors and Back Of House flooring in hotels is typically subjected to high footfall and often the storage and maneuverer of heavy equipment. Our recommendation for these areas is Liquid Vinyl, typically just 1-1.5mm in thickness it provides a strong slip resistant flooring and is dried and cured in one hour, reducing the amount of disruption to the area.

A four layer MMA resin system is applied comprising of Primer, Colored Flakes and two coats of top coat, the system is 100% seamless. There is no use of sealants around drains, gullies, skirting, or the weakest part of a floor, which allows bacteria to breed. With over 160 colored flakes available we are confident there is a perfect color for your flooring project.

WALLSOLUTIONS:

Walls become very unsightly over time due to impact damage, dirt and grease. In the case of tiled walls they lose their grout, become cracked and fade over time. Choosing our Plexicoat MMA Wall system will eliminate these problems as they are seamless, hygienic, easy to clean, can take high impact and are easy to maintain.

Clients can also choose from 160 different colors to suit any need, and we can also color code the kitchen. For example in a kitchen using white flakes you could add a touch of red for the meat section, green for vegetables, blue for fish and a touch of beige in the main kitchen. This allows staff to know which tools stay in which areas and eliminates contamination of trolleys, knives etc.

TOILET AND CHANGING ROOMSOLUTIONS:

Toilets and changing rooms need to be kept clean and hygienic to stop bacteria breeding and causing health problems. Urinals are a common problem with male toilets having splashes of acid urine over the floor and walls which eat into the surfaces of some materials like tiles and vinyl, which fade them. Urine also impregnates the grout of the tiles or the welds of the vinyl and saturates the screed substrate causing a continuous unpleasant smell.

We recommend Plexicoat 2mm Colored Flake system which eliminates these problems giving a seamless and hygienic floor that withstands the acid of urine and allows staff to clean easily. Clients can choose from over 160 colors for an aesthetically pleasing floor.

Plant rooms require a finish that keeps dust to a minimum and protects the underlayment from being damaged. We therefore recommend Plexicoat MMA Resin which is an ideal solution for these areas. It is cost effective as clients can choose either a one coat or two coat system depending on the usage of the floor. We can color to most RAL colors, giving a floor finish that will last for years.

FREEZER AND CHILLERSOLUTIONS:

A 100% seamless hygienic floor that can withstand freezing temperatures down to -20ºF is the key requirement for any hotel. For industrial kitchens and catering flooring we recommend Plexicoat seamless hygienic MMA flooring 4mm colored quartz. A five layer MMA resin system comprising of Primer, Body Coat, Colored Quartz and two coats of top coat are applied. The system is 100% seamless with no use of sealants around drains, gullies and skirtings, which are the weakest part of the floor. In other systems the sealants around drains, gullies and skirtings break down, allowing dirty water, food waste and liquids to ingress into the substrate below causing bacteria to breed. Smells from this bacteria cause complete failure of the floor finishes resulting in delamination and cracking
