From your course home page:

Click Zoom from the top navigation bar

Join a Virtual Class via Zoom

If you do not have Zoom installed on your computer, you will be prompted to a “download and install” page.

• Follow the instructions to install Zoom

2 Click Join to connect to your class

If your instructor hasn’t started the class, you’ll see this message.

Once the class starts, the Zoom meeting window will appear.

Click Join with Computer Audio to connect your audio

These meeting controls should appear at the bottom of your screen.

Audio and Video

Troubleshooting

Make sure your microphone and speaker are connected and turned on. If something's not working, click the ^ arrow icon:

• Make sure you select the right microphone and speaker

• Run Test Speaker & Microphone

Audio & Videocontrols allow you to mute/unmute your microphone and turn your camera on/off respectively.

Use Chat to communicate with your instructor and peers.

Participants and Chat

Participants allows you to see who is in the class.

If enabled by the instructor, you can use a nonverbal icon to provide quick feedback.

Share Screen

To share your content, you can either choose to show your entire desktop, or only show an individual file, such as a PowerPoint.

Note: You need to open the file on your PC before sharing it.

• Select what you’d like to share

• Click Share to present your selected option

Chat is under More menu.

While Sharing

• If the control bar is blocking your content, you can drag it out of your way.

• Click to let your instructor continue the class.
