scientific organization ICNIRP andinclude safety margins designed toassure the protection of allpersons, regardless of age andhealth.

The guidelines use a unit ofmeasurement known as SpecificAbsorption Rate, or SAR. The SARlimit for mobile devices is 2.0W/kg and the highest SAR valuefor this device when tested at theear was1.18W/kg. As mobiledevices offer a range of functions, they can be used in otherpositions, such as on the body asdescribed in this user guide.

As SAR is measured utilizing thedevice’s highest transmittingpower, the actual SAR of thisdevice while operating is typicallybelow that indicated above. This isdue to automatic changes to thepower level of the device toensure it only uses the minimumpower required to communicatewith the network. The tests arecarried out in accordance with EN62209-1-2006.
