• Zuidberg Engineering develops for almost every type of tractor a front linkage and PTO-system using the latest CAD systems. The systems are developed to integrate both technically and in design as whole with the tractor.

FRONT-PTO SYSTEM with adjustable, proportional engagementZuidberg Front-PTO provi-des power delivery to the highest technical standards. The PTO features an inter-nal oil immersed multi-plate clutch. Engagement of the clutch is controlled by a proportional and adjustable engagement system. This

guarantees a smooth uptake of power to front mounted implements. When disen-gaged the PTO is braked but to help connection of mach-ines the PTO output shaft features the ECON connec-tion system. ECON allows the user to manually turn the

output shaft through 60 deg when linking up a machine. The PTO has its own inte-grated oil system requiring no external oil supply from the tractor. Fitting times of the PTOs are reduced and reliability is increased with this system.

FRONTLINKAGE defining the front face

For almost every type of trac-tor there is a Zuidberg Front PTO available. Zuidberg pro-vide the broadest range of Front PTO’s available. For higher power delivery appli-cations the Zuidberg PTO is supplied with an oil cool-er. The oil cooler allows the

gearbox to maintain correct operating temperatures even in extreme operating condi-tions. The PTO output shaft is braked when disengaged eliminating shaft drag in cold conditions. Due to the customized design of the Front PTO

systems each input drive shaft is designed with ser-vice in mind. Using diffe-rent driveshaft combination replacement of items such as V belts is made easier.

Multi-ValveThe Multi-Valve can be set to work the linkage either as single acting or double acting. The linkage can also be locked hydraulically in its transport position.

Lift frameStrength and design cha-racterize the cast iron base frame. The lift frame is manufactured from nodular cast iron, which guarantees optimum rigidity. In folded position the arms are folded in towards the tractor. The compact construction pro-vides the user with excellent serviceability and integration with the tractor.

Ball endsAll Zuidberg’s front link-ages have, except for a few models, ball hook ends with balls included. This allows safe and reliable mounting and dismounting of imple-ments.

RamsAll rams have a hardened and chrome plated ram-rods. At the ends of the ram are industrial greasable and replaceable bearings. These bearings guarantee a long life without play on the rams.

Lift armsThe solid arms are manu-factured of special, high-quality steel. The lift arms have three different posit-ions (fixed, float and folded). The arms can be changed into locked, float and folded positions by the hardened locking pin.

FinishingAll parts of the linkage are de-burred and hot phosphated before being electro-statically sprayed with two component paint.

PRACTICAL ADVANTAGES for the user

There are three main advantages of the Zuidberg Front link-age and PTO systems, labour, fuel and more efficient use of the tractor. Various operations can be combined on to one tractor and performed at the same time. For a lot of crop growers, dairy farmers, fruit growers and contractors a front linkage and PTO are the norm for their tractor. Due to the advantages the linkage offer they can’t imagine working without them in their daily work operations.

• Soil preparation and sowing can be done in just one single run with a front press or rotary tiller in the front linkage and a sowing machine on the rear hitch;

• Planting potatoes goes quick and accurate with a rotary tiller on the front of the tractor and a planter on the back;

• Haulm topping and harvesting potatoes can be done in a single work run;

• Efficient mowing with the mower front mounted and pickup at the rear;

• Ensile grass into the clamp is made extremely efficient with a buck rake on the front linkage of the tractor;
