ing Report provided by Brandon Theobaldfor Mingo View Drive and Alley betweenHigh Ave/1st Ave/2nd St W/3rd StreetW. The Council will have AdministratorBoulton draft a letter to potential resi-dents affected with an invitation to aninformal meeting at the WanamingoCommunity Center on July 13th at 6:00pm.There were a number of items that theCouncil will need to consider as part ofthe project. These include but are notlimited to: The installation of curb (po-tentially doubling costs), the installationof a sewer collection system (could/would be separate project because thescope of the work would be mutuallyexclusive), the potential changes to thespecial assessment policy (from 75%costs to homeowner to a lower percent-age), the potential additional costs tothe City and how it would directly in-crease the size of the property tax levy, the potential for financing the project
through a bond (guaranteeing that theproject would need to be engineered),the potential of setting a precedence inthe construction/maintenance of alleysmoving forward, and reasons to pavealleys that have steep changes in eleva-tions because of additional maintenancestemming from sand/gravel being washedonto roads during rain events.

Acting, Musical TheatreCamps at Crossings
ZUMBROTA Kids can spend the days exploring fun and sponta-neous theater games and the art of improvisation, or audition for andlearn parts in a junior version of The Sound of Music, at Crossingscamps.
Both Imagine This! The Art of Improv and Musical Theater:The Sound of Music, run August 3-14 (skip the weekend), each forhalf the day, so kids can take both camps if they choose. The camps areopen to youth entering grades 2 through 12.
By playing games and learning to take risks in a safe environmentin Imagine This! camp, campers will develop an ability to tell storiescollaboratively and work in the moment. Improv is an excellent toolfor improving self-expression, listening skills and body awareness, and for boosting self-confidence ... all while having a gargantuanblast! Instructors from the Minnesota SkyVault Theatre Company.
Youth who love to sing and act can do both in a junior version ofThe Sound of Music. Auditions are on the first day and then rehears-als until the onstage performance the final evening. Campers imagi-nations will help create minimal set pieces as they focus on memoriz-ing the songs and speaking lines. Poppy Lear and Amy Heetland leadthe camp.
Both camps will end in performances on stage at the State Theatre.Friends, family and the general public will be invited.
Improv camp runs 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Musical Theatre campruns 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Visit the website at www.crossingsatcarnegie.com for details aboutindividual camp experiences, dates and prices and our well-qualifiedinstructors, and to register. Or, call or email us to request a brochure.
