Who can participate? Any author of the paper (no matter if she/he is still at the university)

What scienftific works can be submitted? You can participate with nearly every work, e.g. research articles and scientific papers

Can I only participate when a Zwick testing machines was used? No, every brand of materials testing machines can be used in the scientific work.

How old can the paper be? If the content of your work ist still valid the age of the publication is not important.

How will the winners be determined? A jury (1 Zwick employee, 3 professors) will nominate the winners.

Where Research and Industry Meet

Materials research is vital to a competitive economy. As the leading manufacturer of testing systems, Zwick promotes and fosters the exchange of information with academic institutions. Presentations and workshops are the ideal forum for this. That is why Zwick has sponsored Zwick Academia Day for many years. It takes place every spring at a different European university or institutions of higher education.

This event gives us an opportunity to recognize how materials testing machines are used in many innovative applications. Zwick Academia Days of the past have served as a platform for the rigorous exchange of ideas and opinions among participants. The mix of participants from science and industry makes this event special, always ensuring there is a direct connection between theory and practice.
