The TelePresence Content Server is Cisco’s leading video capture solution for live streaming and video on demand viewing. Recent TCS 6.1 release enables a virtualized offering for our customers. Now we are planning to offer recording and streaming on BE6000 platform, enabling high quality video recording and streaming collaboration within Unified Communication deployment environment.   An overview of the key features: Enables virtualized TCS recording and streaming on BE6000 and BE7000 platforms    Customer benefits: Enabling packaged, end-to-end UC and video conferencing and recording and streaming offer for midmarket customers Single server for collaboration – simplify deployment and management to complete ‘one-box’ video collaboration   For partners: Opportunities to offer packaged Unified CM, multiparty video and recording and streaming solution Simple to quote, manage and sell messaging Expanded portfolio offering and deployment options to address customer preferences CUCM interoperability VCS is still an option. For CUCM centric environment, now we have CUCM as call control for setting up of video calls which is entirely SIP based via SIP Trunk. Benefits including simplified deployment for customers who are using SIP.  Other key partner benefit - It also allow users to migrate from H.323 to SIP Call control, which is Cisco’s strategic direction and prepare them for future development.   API integration to provide automation to 3rd party applications tor flexible workflow.
