What is a voucher? A collaboration voucher is a credit that small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Ontario can redeem for expertise and resources from Ontario universities, colleges and research hospitals to help make their businesses more innovative and productive.

OBJECTIVES OF COLLABORATION VOUCHER PROGRAM

The Collaboration Voucher program is designed to • Better align research institutions with the needs of

SMEs and strategic sectors • Create an efficient marketplace for SMEs to access

innovation, productivity and commercialization services from research institutions (e.g., undergraduate and graduate programs, research capacity, infrastructure, etc.)

• Drive increased industry-academic collaborations and provide experiential learning opportunities for students
