Welcome

Winterruption on Granville Island is celebrating its sixth annual,

truly unique Vancouver winter festival. This year we are proud

to bring back the acclaimed Coastal Jazz & Blues Society, featuring the

infectious grooves of Current Swell and Hayley Sales and the cryptic

cabaret strut of The Zolas with special guest Maurice. In the Kids Zone,

young ones can experience the magical tale of Bird Brain, presented by

Carousel Theatre, and street dance troupe Project Soul.

You will find a special mix of tradition and innovation in the

Sculptural Exhibition: Trees, Totems and Transformation. During

Market Arts in the Public Market, we will inspire your taste buds with

top chef Robert Clark and author Jane Mundy sharing seafood recipes

that are good for the planet. Whether you are from across the globe or

across False Creek, we welcome you to experience the diverse arts and

culture scene that is Granville Island, February 25 – 27!
