The Van Gogh exhibit “Up Close” at the Philadelphia Museum

Vincent van Gogh was an artist of exceptional intensity, not only in his use of color and exuberant application of paint, but also in his personal life. Drawn pow-erfully to nature, his works--particularly those created in the years just before he took his own life--engage the viewer with the strength of his emotions. This exhi-bition focuses on these tumultuous years, a period of feverish artistic experimenta-tion that began when van Gogh left Antwerp for Paris in 1886 and continued until his death in Auvers in 1890. On April 24, we will be travelling by bus to the Philadelphia Art Museum.

Depart from WW-P HS North at 8:30 am & return\ 4:30 pm. Cost: $110.00 Tickets, bus travel & lunch on the East Balcony, are included.

Questions? Please contact Susan Holscher at 609-716-5030 ext. 5034
