Flexible Study OptionsAccess Language Centreoffers a range of SuperIntensive and IntensiveEnglish Language

Programs at all levels from Beginner

to Advanced. Courses vary from 2to 52 weeks. Our timetable is especiallydesigned to allow you to work whileyou study in your English course.For those who are interested in sightseeing, the early nish of classes(12:50pm when studying in the IntensiveEnglish Language Program) allows youto spend the whole afternoon relaxingand enjoying Sydney. Students interestedin reaping the benets of a Super IntensiveEnglish Language Program can takefull advantage of our 25-hour face-to-faceteaching program. The Harbour CityAccess Language Centre is very centrallylocated in inner Sydney where you cannd most popular tourist attractions.In the centre of the city there is the historicwaterside Rocks area, the place whereAustralias earliest European settlers lived.The area offers many restaurants, bars,cafes and shops containing Australiansouvenirs. Beside the Rocks is SydneyHarbour Bridge climb to the top andget a birds eye view of the city, includingCircular Quay where ferries leave for stopsall round the harbour, and the stunningOpera House, Australias most famousbuilding. A short stroll from the Opera

House are the Botanic Gardens and theArt Gallery of NSW both well worth a visit.

Outdoor LifestyleBondi, perhaps Sydneys best knownbeach with its white sand and sparklingblue waves, is only a 15 minute drivefrom Access Language Centre. Butthere are also many other beautifulbeaches to visit that are not far awayfrom Access Language Centre.

To the north, Palm Beach and Whale Beachoffer great swimming and surng, as doesManly Beach which can be reached bytaking an inexpensive scenic ferry ride fromCircular Quay. South of Bondi are Bronte,Coogee and Cronulla Beaches each withits own special character.

During summer,there are many free concerts of operaand classical music held outside underthe stars. I really enjoyed the time I spent here, I found the teachers andstaff very helpful and friendly. The facilities are modern, clean, tidyand comfortable, and the resources (such as the computers) wereuseful for my learning. H omestay allows internationalstudents to learn about our Australianlifestyle and culture in a safe and friendlyenvironment. Independent Accommodation(Hostel/Guesthouse/Residence)This type of accommodation providesstudents with an independent living spaceand an environment to settle in and makenew friends from all over the world.All independent accommodation optionsare in close proximity to Access LanguageCentre and have a homely feel. They areall secure buildings with an onsite manager.A few rooms have an ensuite bathroom,but most rooms are with sha red bathroomfacilities. Access Language Centre is one of the oldest specialist providers ofwork experience programs in Sydney. With staff dedicated to matchingour students with the most appropriate organisations for their workexperience and supporting them every step of the way, you are

guaranteed a high quality work experience in Sydney. A comprehensiveorientation into living and working in Australia will also ensure that youare prepared and fully aware of work conditions and habits in Australia.At Access Language Centre, we offer a variety of work experienceprograms. One of the main aims of these programs is to provide youwith the opportunity to improve your English outside the classroom.These programs are subject to special conditions and include:

Demi Pair ProgramThe Demi Pair program combines dailyIntensive English classes whilst at the sametime helping out an Australian family withchildcare and light housework assistance.In exchange for those services, the studentwill be offered accommodation, mealsand a weekly living allowance. Studentsbetween 20 and 30 years old whohave substantial experience in workingwith children and who show at least anIntermediate English level may apply forthis program.

Internship ProgramThe Internship program offers an unpaidprofessional Internship placement witha host organisation aimed at providinguniversity students or young professionalswith practical experience in their eldof study. Interns will gain work experiencethat will assist them with their futurecareer search while also improving theirlanguage skills and experiencing Australianculture. The Internship program can beundertaken with or without an IntensiveEnglish course. Students who possess atleast an Upper-Intermediate English levelmay apply for this program.

Work & Study ProgramThe Work & Study program providesa range of services to assist overseasstudents in searching for paid work inSydney. This is an exciting opportunityfor anyone who wants to work and studyin Australia. The Work & Study programis available with any English program.Students 18 years old and over whopossess at least an Intermediate Englishlevel may apply for this program.

My Demi Pair experience was veryinteresting & rewarding, I lived with a localAustralian family and I had to look after thechildren while the parents were away. Myfamily was perfect and very kind, I felt likea part of their own family. I really enjoyedthe experience as I learned a lot about theculture and my English improved a lot.Most importantly, I met people that I willremember all my life!
