    Front Side of building looked

    in direction of Nort-east)

    Backside of building looked

    in direction of South-west)

As the building having 4 floor, the

first floor is used as commercial. The

rest ones are used as residential .

On the facade of frontside ,there

are some anomalies as seen fromthe picture(Loss of

    Mass,Scaling,Encrustration...This

front facade is subjected to lots

    anomalies in comparison with back

    side.

As seen from the picture, this facadeis quite seen in good

    condition.Because of the facade

seeing the closed area of which is

    not affected with weathering as

much as opposite site of facade.

    1) Loss of Mass

    a)Crumbling

Crumbling is the loss of internal coherence and loss of material.

As you see from the pictures taken from surface, some crumbling

effects are severly than rest of them. This anomaly depends

upon also where it happens.According to the pictures, thecrumbling formed on the upper part of facade is subjected to

medium effect, but instead the crumbling formed on the first

floor subjected to severely effect. The most affected part could

have been subjected to more water effects(rain..), or by the

    action of human effects..

    1) Loss of Mass

    a)Scaling

Scaling is local flaking or peeling away of the near-surface

portion of hardened concerete or mortar. The reason to make

scaling occur could be freeze-thaw attack or salt attack. From the

pictures shown on the previous page one part is especiallyundergone much suffering.Maybe the problem could be

enlightened analyzing that wall in depth.
