• Georgi Lipovanski was born on March 21, 1949 in Bulgaria.
• Graduated from the National Art High School of Sofia.
• Graduated from the National Art Academy, majoring in painting at the studio of professor Aleksander Poplilov.

Georgi Lipovanski has been a director of the National Gallery for Foreign Art and a member of the Management Board of the Union of Bulgarian Artists. In 1997 he was Deputy Minister of Culture.

• Works predominantly in painting, graphic arts, spatial design, illustration, fresco.
• Has been exhibiting his artwork in national, group and individual expositions in Bulgaria and abroad.
• Winner of awards from Cuba, Russia, Italy, Belgium and others.
• Georgi Lipovanski was awarded the Sofia Fine Arts Award for 2009.
