Practice, Practice, Practice!
Please practice sight words and math facts at home weekly.
Reading: This week, we will read the informational text, Where Does Food Come From? Students will identify the author’s purpose for writing and use pictures to understand things the author doesn’t say.
Math: Students will apply the inverse relationship of addition and subtraction, use related facts to determine unknown numbers, and take their Mid-Chapter quiz.
Science: We will review what farmers need to grow food. In addition, we will continue to learn about the eight moon phases. Social Studies: In social studies, students will learn about Abraham Lincoln.
