Choose File on the Menu

Choose Open

Choose the file you want to edit

Become familiar with the Toolbox

Ellipse Select

Free Select Fuzzy Select: select continuous region

based on color

Select by Color: Point and click to select color

Scissors Select: select shapes with intelligent

edge-fitting

Foreground Select

Paths Tool

Color Picker Tool

Zoom Tool

Measure Tool: measure distance

and angles

Move Tool

Alignment Tool

Crop Tool: remove parts of an image

Rotate ToolScale Tool

Sheer ToolPerspective Tool

Flip Tool

Cage Transform Tool Text Tool

Bucket ToolBlend Tool

Pencil Tool

Paintbrush Tool

After you open your file, select the crop tool

Crop Tool: remove parts of an image

Select the area you want to keep and double click

Scale Image

Select Image on the Menu

Select Scale Image

Click the pull-down menu beside width and height

Change to inches

Type in the the size you require

Change the resolution to the ppi required for your project

When finished, click Scale

Save Your Image

Click File on the Menu

Choose Save As

Save Your Image

Type in the name of your image

Choose where you want to save your image

You can change the file type to Jpeg or PDF

Click save
