Pink  Productions  8-‐Step  Worksheet

1. Step  One:    Write  down  your  overall  goal  of  the  company.  It  is  important  to  know  what  you  are  working  towards  so  that  you  never  lose  sight  of  your  destination.  Dream  big!  Ask  yourself,  what  is  your  overall  goal  and  vision  for  the  company?  Try  to  keep  this  answer  short  and  concise  (1-‐2  sentences).      Example:  Our  goal  is  to  be  the  largest  fast  food  chain  worldwide  that  occasionally  provides  families  with  great  healthy  food,  free  of  charge.

o Now  take  it  a  step  further  and  breakdown  your  overall  goal.  Based  on  our  example,  we  would  ask  ourselves:  what  types  of  free  food  and  how  often  would  we  like  to  provide  free  food?  Example:  Free  portioned  dinner  meals  once  every  3  months.

2. Step  Two:    Write  down  your  long-‐term  goal(s).  Your  long-‐term  goal  is  different  from  your  overall  goal.  For  example,  a  great  way  to  think  of  your  long-‐term  goals  is  by  asking  yourself  where  do  you  see  yourself  or  your  business  in  5  years.  What  are  your  long-‐term  goals?  Make  sure  to  create  bullets  for  each  specific  goal.    Examples:  Our  goal  is  open  restaurants  in  10  major  cities  nationwide.  Our  goal  is  to  partner  with  5  major  food  banks  nationwide.  Our  goal  is  to  feed  10k  families.

o Now  take  it  a  step  further  and  breakdown  each  long  term  goal.  Based  on  our  example  goals,  we  would  answer  the  questions:  which  cities  would  we  open  restaurants,  what  food  banks  would  we  partner  with,  and  how  do  we  plan  to  feed  10k  families?  Example:  We  plan  to  have  restaurants  in  Houston,  New  York  City,  Los  Angeles,  Washington  D.C.,  Miami,  Dallas,  Louisiana,  Denver  and  San  Diego.  We  plan  to  partner  with  Houston  Food  Bank,  United  Food  Bank,  Community  Food  Bank,  Los  Angeles  Regional  Food  Bank  and  Food  Bank  for  New  York  City.  We  plan  to  facilitate  a  fundraiser  every  quarter  to  raise  money  to  feed  10k  families.

o Make  sure  to  create  bullets  for  each  specific  detail  under  each  goal.

3. Step  Three:    Write  down  your  company's  mid-‐term  goal(s).  A  great  way  to  think  of  your  mid-‐term  goals  is  by  asking  yourself  where  do  you  see  the  company  in  2  ½  years.  What  are  the  your  mid-‐term  goals?  Create  a  list  of  bullets  for  each  specific  goal.

o Now  take  it  a  step  further  and  breakdown  each  mid-‐term  goal.  Example:  We  plan  to  have  restaurants  in  Houston,  New  York  City,  Los  Angeles  and  Washington  D.C.  We  plan  to  partner  with  Houston  Food  Bank  and  United  Food  Bank.  We  plan  to  facilitate  a  fundraiser  every  quarter  to  raise  money  to  feed  1,000  families.

4. Step  Four:    Write  down  your  company's  2-‐year  goal(s).  You  may  be  thinking  of  how  close  your  mid-‐term  goal  and  two  year  goals  are  in  time.  You'd  be  surprised  at  what  can  happen  in  six  months.  It's  important  you're  prepared  and  focused  no  matter  what.  Ask  yourself:  where  do  you  see  the  company  in  two  years?  Create  a  list  of  bullets  for  each  specific  goal.

o Now  take  it  a  step  further  and  breakdown  each  2-‐year  goal.  Example:  We  plan  to  have  restaurants  in  Houston,  New  York  City  and  Los  Angeles.  We  also  plan  to  be  working  on  opening  our  third  location  in  Washington  D.C.  We  plan  to  partner  with  Houston  Food  Bank  and  we  plan  to  be  working  on  our  second  food  bank  partnership,  with  United  Food  Bank.  We  plan  to  facilitate  a  fundraiser  every  quarter  to  raise  money  to  feed  1,000  families.

5. Step  Five:    Write  down  your  company's  1-‐year  goals.  Ask  yourself,  where  do  you  see  the  company  in  one  year?  Create  a  list  of  bullets  for  each  specific  goal.  Keep  in  mind  one  year  happens  faster  than  we  think.  Be  sure  to  pace  yourself.

o Now  take  it  a  step  further  and  breakdown  each  1-‐year  goal.

6. Step  Six:    Write  down  your  company's  quarterly  goals.  Ask  yourself  what  do  you  want  to  have  accomplished  within  the  company  every  three  months?  What  can  you  do  every  quarter  in  order  to  accomplish  your  yearly  goals?  Create  a  list  of  bullets  for  each  specific  goal.  Be  mindful  of  the  seasons  and  different  trends,  they  can  be  helpful  when  considering  your  quarterly  goals.

o Now  take  it  a  step  further  and  breakdown  each  quarterly  goal.

7. Step  Seven:    Write  down  your  company's  monthly  goal.  Ask  yourself,  what  is  it  that  you  want  to  accomplish  every  month?  A  great  way  to  do  this  is  by  focusing  on  each  month,  a  month  or  two  in  advance.  Example:  Organize  January's  2018  goals  in  November  or  December  of  2017.

o Now  take  it  a  step  further  and  breakdown  each  monthly  goal.

 8. Step  Eight:

Write  down  your  company's  day-‐to-‐day  goals.  Ask  yourself  what  can  I  do  daily  to  accomplish  this  month  goals.  The  best  way  to  write  down  your  day-‐to-‐day  goals  is  to  focus  on  what  needs  to  be  done  this  month.

o Now  take  it  a  step  further  and  breakdown  each  day  to  day  goal.

Similar  to  a  business  plan,  this  8-‐step  worksheet  is  a  living  worksheet.  Be  sure  to  look  at  it  daily,  and  edit  it  as  necessary.  At  Pink  Prods,  we  set  a  goal  to  update  our  company  goals  often,  ensuring  that  we  are  on  track  and  our  company  is  evolving  with  the  world  we  live  in.

By  following  this  8-‐Step  worksheet,  you  have  created  a  long  term  agenda  for  your  goals.  As  long  as  you  follow  the  steps  you've  created,  you  will  always  be  on  the  right  path  walking  towards  your  vision.
