David obviously understood the ark’s significance to the new united nation – The previous administration had not even

cared to seek it 1 Chron 13:2-3 The ark represented God’s presence

Ex 25:10-22 This important piece of furniture must be

at the center of David’s kingdom


As good an idea as it was in rescuing the ark and bringing it home to Jerusalem, David’s logistical plan in getting it there was that bad
