Mothers Day 2015Chrysanthemums, Cyclamen, Miniature Roses in a variety of ceramic pots and gift wrapped bouquets.....

CHRYSANTHEMUM are an iconic Mothers day gift! not only does their name contain 'Mum' but they naturally flower in Australia around Mothers Day! Summerhill’s potted chrysanthemums will last for a few weeks inside. Just keep it in a brightly lit position and remember water when dry. Remove any dead flowers or discoloured leaves. Once the flowers have finished cut it back to around 15cm high and plant out in your garden for a colourful show next mother’s day!

MINIATURE ROSES are true roses, especially bred for their smaller flowers, foliage and plants size. Despite their small size, miniature roses are extremely hardy! They are available in a wide range of colours and are profuse repeat bloomers. Summerhill Roses will give you sensational flower indoors for up to 3 weeks. Summerhill Roses also perform brilliantly in tubs or landscape plantings in the garden, flowering for months and months over the warmer seasons. To keep your Rose looking its best, keep it in a bright, well lit position, prune after flowering and apply a liquid or slow release fertiliser.

CYCLAMEN Summerhill’s cyclamen make fantastic house plants and can also be planted out in the garden! They come in a wide variety of colours and are profuse bloomers!  To get the most form your cyclamen plant keep the plants moist but never wet, make sure to drain well after watering and try to avoid soaking the foliage, liquid feed every couple of weeks using a fertiliser for flowering plants and remove spent leaves and flower stems from the base gently but cleanly.
