doors are true stile and rail interiordoors for residential and commercialinstallations. Our doors are madewith MDF (Medium DensityFiberboard) that contains over 90%recycled wood fiber and are coatedwith water­based primer. As a result,we are able to deliver you doors thatare dimensionally stable, paintexceptionally well, and are generallyeligible for various green buildingstandards such as LEED. Further,using water soluble paint allows doorsto air­dry without creating hazardousfumes, keeping employees safe whilelowering energy consumption. IMPORTANT INFORMATIONSCREWS: Use straight shank screws

with a small root diameter and awidely spaced “aggressive” threadpattern. We recommend using a #9 x1 1/4” for 1 3/8” doors and a #10 or#12 x 1 1/4” for 1 3/4” doors.

PRE­DRILLING AND TIGHTENING: Pilotholes are required and should bebetween 85% to 90% of the rootdiameter of the selected screw, anddrilled to a depth greater than thescrews driven length. Screws shouldnot be over tightened. Set clutch onyour drill to minimum. Should a minorsplit occur, due to over tightening,remove the screw and fill split withwood putty.

HINGES: Use 3 hinges on 6'8” and7'0” doors and 4 hinges on 7'6” an8'0” doors.

HANDLING: Doors should not bedelivered to the job site until all othertrades are complete and concretefloors, plaster and drywall arecompletely dry. Doors should bestored flat in a dry, well ventilatedarea. The doors should not be placeddirectly on the floor, but placed on atleast three equally spaced supports(2x4 or similar). DO NOT LEANDOORS up against the wall.

FINISHING: To properly finish the dooruse a high quality paint and apply it instrict accordance with themanufacturer's specifications. Besure to patch any minor dents orscratches that have occurred duringhandling. Do any required finalsanding and be sure to wipe the doorclean before applying any paint.Doors are to be finished on both sidesand all four edges. DO NOT LEAVEONE SIDE UNFINISHED for aprolonged period of time. Whenfinishing the doors both sides shouldbe finished at the same time.
