The demands on technology and equipment in production sites of the food and beverage industry and their sub-
suppliers are especially high and constantly increasing. Provisions to avoid any risk of health according to the
principals of the HACCP-concept (HazardAnalysis Critical Control Point) for hygienic in production, cleaning anddisinfection are assumed. HACCP is a key criteria of the IFS (International Food Standard) in the requirement to thequality system.
Since many years NORKA is prepared for the special requirements of the food and beverage industry, the mainte-
nance area of work pits and offers a number of luminaires to handle the following risks:

Luminaire housing made of glass fibre reinforced polyester. Reflector
tube medium beam, PMMA impact strengthened transopal (standard
version). On request: PMMA impact strengthened clear, PMMA clear,
PMMA clear inside ribbed, reflector tube PMMA clear narrow or con-
centrated beam. PC on inquiry. Built-in Industrial ECG (100.000 hrs),
or low loss ballast and starter.

- Corrosion, acid and alkaline resistant
- UV-stable
- Ageing resistant and form retaining silicone/synthetic

- Adjustable beam angle
- Easy fixation by 2 mounting brackets with flexible distance
- Re-lamping possible without tool by pressure caps with
stainless steel clips
