الهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء جهة مستقلة الغرض الأساسي لها هو القيام بتنظيم ومراقبة الغذاء والدواء والأجهزة والمنتجات

الطبية والتشخيصية، ومن مهامها وضع اللوائح الفنية والمواصفات في مجالات الغذاء والدواء والأجهزة والمنتجات

أو مصنعة محلياً بواسطة لجان فنية متخصصة، وقد قام قطاع الأجهزة والمنتجات الطبية بالهيئة سواءً كانت مستوردة الطبية

الأطراف الصناعية وتقويم فريق عمل مواصفات " (SFDA/MDS/TC 168) ضمن برنامج عمل الفريق رقم

تحديد العوامل الفيزيائية لأجهزة –الأطراف الصناعية ( "ISO 16955:2016) بتبني المواصـــــــــفة الدولية رقم " العظام

وقد اعتمدت هذه ، والتي أصدرتها "المنظمة الدولية للتقييس" وذلك بلغتها الأصلية. "كاحل القدم ووحدات القدم الصناعية

Foreword

Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) is an independent organization with purpose of regulating

and monitoring of foods, drugs and medical devices. One of SFDA functions is to issue national

Standards /Technical Regulation in the fields of foods, drugs and medical devices, whether imported

or manufactured locally, through specialized technical committees (TCs). SFDA medical devices

sector through the work program of technical committee (SFDA/MDS/TC 168) “Prosthetics and

orthotics” has adopted the International Standard No. (ISO 16955:2016) “Prosthetics — Quantification

of physical parameters of ankle foot devices and foot units”, issued by “International Organization for

Standardization” in its original language. This standard is adopted with modifications in its original

language and has been approved as a national standard by SFDA CEO decision No (…) on (date).

- The modifications are mentioned in the Modifications Annex.

Scope

This Technical Specification describes quantitative methods to evaluate or assess key performance indicators of prosthetic ankle

foot devices.

For each method, the set-up and test configurations are described. Also included is a variety of parameters which are derived or

calculated from the recorded data.
