It aimed to provide the most comprehensive survey of the attitudes and sentiments of the management profession in Singapore. The survey covered the areas of climate of the business landscape, management issues and priorities, career and personal development, and organisational health of businesses. In 2012, a follow up survey was conducted in the period from 28th June to 20th July 2012. 782 managers occupying middle management positions and above responded to the survey. The sample has a good representation of managers across different industries, organisation types, and management profiles. About the Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) Management Monitor 2012

The SIM Management Monitor was first conducted in 2009. It aimed to provide the most comprehensive survey of the attitudes and sentiments of the management profession in Singapore. The survey covered the areas of climate of the business landscape, management issues and priorities, career and personal development, and organisational health of businesses.

In 2012, a follow up survey was conducted in the period from 28th June to 20th July 2012. 782 managers occupying middle management positions and above responded to the survey. The sample has a good representation of managers across different industries, organisation types, and management profiles.

The main themes of the 2012 study were key management trends, focus on SMEs, and management needs for the future.
