Greetings, brothers and sisters, we have had quiet an eventful time since our last issue. God is still on the throne.Happy Independence Day!

In the past two months the world has had something that none of us know anything about a pandemic.  It is unprecedented in any living person's life. We have not been this way before. The Coronavirus is a very fast moving disease.

I have been praying asking God to let this slow down for our sakes. Please be safe and vigilant. Perhaps after we overcome the Coronavirus maybe we will become unified in the body of Christ. Also, nationally and globally with unity.

This issue will look at the difference between the Church (the body of Christ) vs the building. To New Dawning

Joyce's CornerHide The Word In Your Heart

When I was a child we were taught memory verses. We were told that there would come a time when we would not be able to use our Bibles. Now the time has almost come whereby we are not able to assemble together as a church body.

The Coronavirus Pandemic has essentially shut down everything including church. In these times that try men's souls it is good to have scripture stored away in our spirits. The question is how much did we store up in Bible Study, Sunday School

and Morning Church, Conferences, Seminars, other church activities and lastly fellowship with others in the body of Christ.

Psalm 37:31; The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.

Psalm 119:11; Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Colossians 3:16; King James Version (KJV)16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

The one question is why did God allow the church to be in the shutdown?  We need to seek God for an answer. If we are the Body of Christ can we function without the organization meaning the building? This is a time to search our souls to find out what our relationship is with God.

Soul's diseases you ask yourself what is it because I did. I saw soul diseases in an Andrae´Crouch song, “Nobody But Jesus” from his "Journey" project and later I saw souls diseases in the hymnal “There's not a friend like the lowly Jesus” Author: Johnson Oatman (1895)

This is the definition of "Soul sickness,” or demoralization, is characterized by feelings of hopelessness and helplessness and a perceived sense of

incompetence. This condition typically involves vague, unexplained physical symptoms. 1(The Journal of American Osteopathic Association.)

Soul Disease has been diagnosed by different names in psychiatric literature social breakdown syndrome,” in which patients manifest progressive chronic psychiatric deterioration. Its a giving up or given up complex.

Another name I found is Spiritual Illness-can often be a result of unhealthy beliefs we have picked up about our community and the world, ourselves and other people. This results in an imbalance in our lives. It can affect us physically.

The greatest cause of soul's diseases is so, our separation from from God of course Jesus is the cure sent from heaven.

Three Spiritual Sicknesses

1) Spiritual Wounds deep hurts the family unit, friends, the country, the world and the place least expected the church.

2) Spiritual Malnutrition comes when we reject the Word of God, when the preacher is not performing his preaching calling

3) Spiritual Virus comes when a member(s) of a church spread unhealthy conversations through the Body of Christ causing division. In other words sowing seeds of discord. There is a cure much prayer and each member staying completely busy.

It’s Recipe Time with Delma Lewis

Delma's Homemade Pasta Salad with Crabmeat and Baby Shrimp

Ingredients 1/2 Box of Spaghetti NoodlesA Bag of CrabmeatA Bag of Baby Shrimp1/2 onion cup in small pieces 1 Large Tomato cut into small pieces 1 Large cucumber cut into small pieces1/2 Cheese cut into small piecesA bottle of Italian Dressing

Cook noodles until they are soft don't over cook the them. Put water in medium pot half full and let water come to a boil. Before you put noodles in for about 45 minutes once they are done drain water out of them. Put them in a bowl before and add all other ingredients. Only use about an 8 ounce cup of dressing stir everything up good and put in refrigerator for about 45 minutes, then ready to eat.
