He then worked as a Class Teacher at Wynstones Rudolf Steiner School in the UK, taking two classes through from Class One to Eight. Following this, he worked as a Schools Advisor for the UK’s Steiner Schools Fellowship, returning to Wynstones to take responsibility for High School English and English Literature (Classes Nine to Twelve). A short profile of John Burnett:John qualified as a UK state teacher in 1970, taking his first class of 40 children in an East London Primary school in 1971. He then worked as a Class Teacher at Wynstones Rudolf Steiner School in the UK, taking two classes through from Class One to Eight. Following this, he worked as a Schools Advisor for the UK’s Steiner Schools Fellowship, returning to Wynstones to take responsibility for High School English and English Literature (Classes Nine to Twelve). This involved teaching Main Lessons as well as GCSE and A-Level Examinations. In 1992, he began working at Plymouth University in the UK as Programme Director for an innovative three year Bachelors Degree programme in Rudolf Steiner Education. He retired from this post in 2012 and then began work at aruna in New Zealand, leading the college’s Diploma course in Rudolf Steiner Education.
