New Head selected by November 15, 2016. For more than sixty years, Trinity Episcopal School has served elementary and middle school students in greater Galveston with distinction. Its reputation for academic preparation and character development is outstanding. The historic hurricane that hit Galveston in 2008 had a significant impact on the campus and enrollment, but the school has been successful in completely rebuilding and enhancing its strong position in the community. A new activity center and playing fields have recently been added. The mission of TES is to nurture and educate children in a God-centered environment. The focus is on the growth and development of the whole child, mentally, physically, and spiritually. The academic curriculum is appropriately challenging and is supplemented by offerings in the arts and athletics. There are 24 faculty members, eight of whom have advanced degrees. The Board of Trustees seeks a new Head of School for July 1, 2017. This is a uniquely attractive opportunity for a leader who is committed to faith-based education for young children.
