INVERNESSSaturday 30 th November

The Gift of Ageing: An Exploration of the Challenges of Growing Older – An Introductory Workshop by Dr Harriet Mowat

Time: 10.30am – 3.30pm Venue: Inverness Town House, High Street, Inverness

The theme of the day is the gift of ageing and it will take the form of an exploration of the challenges of growing old. Whilst ageing is not a topic that most people particularly enjoy it is something that we all share. We are all ageing all the time and as we age we need to make changes and tolerate alterations to our lives and our ways of living in the world. Ageing is both a challenge and joy and the more we think about it and discuss it the more we can help ourselves and others as well.

The workshop will look at our own ageing and think about some of the research around ageing well and the spiritual nature of ageing. It will be interactive and fun and hopefully give some insights and useful information to think about. It will be led by Dr Harriet Mowat who is both a practitioner and researcher in this area of work.

There will be no charge for attending but people should bring a packed lunch. The day commences with registration at 10.30am for an 11.00am start.

Booking a place is essential by contacting www.invernessinterfaith.com
