The Yeti (Abominable Snowman)
The word Yeti comes from the Tibetan name for the creature yeh-teh which translates into English as “rock bear” while the idiom “Abominable Snowman” was a
creation of western journalist Henry Newman.
The Yeti, also known as the "Abominable Snowman," is a mythical human-like creature that purportedly makes its
home in the higher elevations of the Himalayan Mountains of Tibet, Bhutan and Nepal.

The Yeti (Abominable Snowman)]The evidences:-In a defined way – Part 1
1. About explorer B.H Benson 2. About British army major L.A. Waddell
---- He reported a tall hairy creature that upon seeing
them apparently fled in panic. Not having witnessed anything
himself Hodgson summarily
dismissed the sighting deciding it
was probably an orangutan and got
back….
---- In 1889, British army major L.A. Waddell reported finding unusual
footprints which his guides attributed to a large apelike creature,
after further investigation Waddell
decided they were most likely bear tracks and
the westerns were attracted...

3. About Tombazi, the photographer 4. About British Mountain Climbers
---- He reported first time in history with a photograph(black and
white) of the YETI, which created a sense
of fear among the people but it was soon unrecognised by the U.N and hence this superstitious thing
also ended.
---- He, with the help of his fellows, went to Himalayas at a high
altitude of 20000 meters and also found the big footprints of the abominable snowman and he
widely came to be known for his invention and was named “YETI’S FEANDOR”, which soon ended by his death on his next trip that was to the same place, and in report it was given that he was killed by the
arms of animal which created a more fear and from that time till date there are only 6 people who went there and only 4 returned...
!!!!!IMPORTANT!!!!!
MORE THAT SHOULD BE KNOWN ABOUT YETI……
Although, there is no fixed proof to say about the existence of YETI, but something can be told about its existence….It is a Tibetan name, which was first told
by a Chinese emperor, YON GU DAQSH, as he was gifted a painting of the YETI by a descendant of his
court….It is still considered as facial but nothing can be done…. The use of "Abominable Snowman" began
when Henry Newman, a longtime contributor to The Statesman in Calcutta, writing under the pen
name "Kim", interviewed the porters of the "Everest Reconnaissance expedition" on their return to
Darjeeling. Newman mistranslated the word "meth" as "filthy", substituting the term "abominable", perhaps out of artistic license. As author Bill Tillman recounts, "[Newman] wrote long after in a letter to The Times: The whole story seemed such a joyous creation I sent
it to one or two newspapers'".
What happened from 19th to20th century in casse of…….
YETI19th century….Mid 19th century..20th century….
They believed yeti to be a part of the pre-Buddhism times. Also it was called as the “GLACIER BEING”. He was also called as the god of the giant but the name was soon taken back and was given the name of the DEATH VALLEY……and was also soon told as a story to be untold..
In 1832, Journal of the Asiatic Society of Bengal published trekker account of his experiences in northern Nepal. His local guides spotted a tall, bipedal creature covered with long dark hair, which seemed to flee in fear.
The frequency of reports increased during the early 20th century, when Westerners began making determined attempts to scale the many mountains in the area and occasionally reported seeing odd creatures or strange tracks.
