To all seminar participants, visitors and guests: Agreement to hold harmless, waiver and assumption of risk. I understand that attendance to a Schutzhund seminar is not without risk to me, members of my family, guests who may attend, or my dog because some of the dogs to which I will be exposed may be difficult to control and may be the cause of injury even when handled with the greatest amount of care.
I hereby WAIVE and RELEASE the Johann Platt Schaeferhunde Verein, Misty Ridge Animal Resort and Joyce Burdette, their employees, officers, members and agents FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY OF ANY NATURE, for injury or damages resulting from the action of any dog, and I expressly assume the risk of such danger or injury while attending this seminar, or any other function of the Johann Platt Schaeferhunde Verein or while on the grounds or the surrounding area thereto.
I further AGREE TO INDEMINFY AND HOLD HARMLESS the organizations and individuals listed above, their employees, officers, members and agents from any and all claims by members of any family or any other person accompanying me to the seminar while on the grounds or the surrounding area thereto as a result of any action by any dog including my own.
I verify that the dog attending has all vaccinations up to date. It is also understood by every handler/owner and exhibitor that every dog at this seminar will at all times be in the care, control and custody of the owner and also agree to assume full responsibility for the animal and its actions at all times.
All dogs on the premises NOT participating in the seminar will need to be kept within the confines of their owner’s vehicle or crate during the seminar.

Directions from Baltimore and Points North 95 south to 695 west/south towards 70. From 695 take 70 west to Rt. 32 North. Go north on Rt. 32 for about eight miles and turn left on Rt. 26. Follow Rt. 26 for about eight miles to cross Rt. 27. After crossing Rt. 27, make the first left onto Franklinville Road. Go to stop sign and turn right. Enter second driveway on left.
Directions from Washington D.C. and Points South 95 north to 495 east toward Rockville. Exit 495 onto 270 north towards Frederick. Take Father Hurley/Rt. 27. Follow Rt. 27 north for about 20 miles. At Rt. 26 turn left. Make the first left onto Franklinville Road. Go to stop sign and turn right. Enter second driveway on left.
