Praise the Lord that we can stand boldly for life and support those recovering from crisis in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ.

Thank the Lord for your parents who gave you life and that God gives us a new life through faith in the Good News of Jesus. Pray that a spirit of life will rise up across our nation and invade every

public arena from media to Congress and to the Supreme Court. Ask God to bless and protect the life supporting organizations like

Pregnancy Resource Centers. Pray for the inauguration of President-elect Obama. Ask God to overwhelm

him and that he will submit to the direction and will of God. Pray that God will powerfully direct the election of our next Pacific

Conference Superintendent. Pray that the Holy Spirit will rule in the decision and that every man and woman casting a ballot will do so under the Spirit’s direction. Ask God to give President Bush rest as he steps down from his eight years

of service and that our nation, in spite actual and perceived mistakes, will give him honor for his leadership. Pray for Bill Copeland along with other members and friends of our

church family who are suffering from chronic illnesses. Pray for those recovering from recent surgeries. And pray for those under hospice care and for those who have recently suffered the death of loved ones.
