Product Description Is a two component, flexible cementitious waterproofingmembrane. It consist of selected cement blend with wellgraded fillers and synthetic resin. It could be applied untodamp substrates by brush, roller or spray. Grandflex 72 is
capable of bridging hairline cracks.

Surface Preparation The substrates must be clean and sound free of dust andloose particles. Cement laitance, oil, grease, mould releaseagents must be removed from concrete surfaces by wirebrushing, scrabbling or by other means.
Dampen the substrates prior to application.
It is recommended that cement and a sand fillet be formed atall corners to receive the waterproofing membrane.
Prior to the application of the waterproofing membrane,dampen the substrate with water while ensuring that no freewater is present on the surface.

Application For best results, damp the surface before coating withGRANDFLEX 72.
For horizontal and vertical surfaces, a roller, brush or spraygun, may be used to apply the slurry. Care must be taken toensure that air is not entrapped in the membrane.
Apply the 1st
coat and work generously to fill all the pores andhoneycombs. Allow the membrane to dry approximately 2 to 3hours prior to application of the second coat. The 2
ndcoat
must be applied crosswise.
After applying the 2nd
coat of waterproofing membrane, allowa minimum curing time interval of 15 72 hours before layingthe screed and commencing ponding test exceed 4 hours, aminimum curing time interval of 72 hours is recommended.
Coverage The coverage rate of GRANDFLEX 72
1.72kg/m2 for 2 coat application to obtain 1mm thickness.
2.0 to 2.25 kg/m2
for 2 coat application to obtainapproximately 1.5mm thickness depending on site conditions.
Note: Coverage figures are theoretical and due to wastage
factors and the nature of possible substrates, practicalcoverage will be reduced.
Part B: Grayish powder
Mix ratio (liquid:powder) : 1:1.2Mixed Color : GrayPot life at 30C : Approximately 1 hourTack free tim : Approximately 2 hours depending
on temperature and humidity.
Storage The shelf life of GRANDFLEX 72 is 12 months when storedunopened in a cool and dry place.
