Drive LPI frequency inverter

The DriveLPI is HANNING’s new low power frequency inverter for amaximum motor output power of 0.37 kW. It is a single-phase (230 V, 50/60 Hz) unit in open design comprising a power board andan interface card. The universal interface provides PLC, IPC or customer-specific control options. The serial RS485 interface and the connectionfor an operating unit are installed on the power board which enablesthe use of the DriveLPI in basic configuration even without the interface card.

All signals are electrically isolated. Through a second analog input thesoftware of the frequency inverter allows user-programmable functions,such as a dancer control for textile machinery, a PID control for leveland volume adjustment in pump applications.

All other features required for operation such as mains filter, brakechopper connection, overtemperature and high and low voltage protection are already integrated. The user can also take advantage ofstandard functions such as the setting of minimum and maximumspeeds, acceleration and deceleration ramps.

HANNING’s DriveLPI low power frequency inverter is an economicand sound device which can be used in many different applicationsbecause of its compact design and individual open frame architecture.

DriveMCI frequency inverter

The new DriveMCI (modular customized inverter) frequency inverterseries has been designed for a power range from 0.37 kW to 4.0 kW and is based on several power stages. It is available in twodifferent sizes. Size A with 0.37 / 0.75 kW in 230 V, single phase and0.75 / 1.5 kW in 400 V, three phase. Size B with 1.5 / 2.2 kW in 230 V,single phase and 2.2 / 4.0 kW in 400 V, three phase. In addition to the230 V version the lowest power of 0.37 KW is also available as special design with 115 V. The contoller is integrated into the powerstage and offers all common state-of-the-art features of a standardfrequency inverter.

Thanks to its modular design it is easy to meet specific customerrequirements regarding interfaces. The standard interface unit provides two analog inputs as well as several binary I/Os and serialcommunication via RS485 (CAN in preparation). Heat sink and mainsfilter are integrated as standard. It is however possible to customizethem if necessary. Even the housing, suitable for IP20, can be removed if required by the set up and the inverter can be used as“open frame” unit.

HANNING’s DriveMCI is an individually adaptable and flexible fre-quency inverter. It can be used in many different fields of applicationsand industries thanks to its numerous design options, open framearchitecture and compactness.
