Upcoming events! New Prayer Requests: t Pray for continued healing for Donna Bronsink after her

surgeries to place a stimulator that hopefully will eliminate

her tremors. The stimulator will not be activated until 6/5.

t Praise the Lord that Dave Timmer’s kidney stone is finally

gone and he is able to have chemo again! Pray that he will

receive good news from a CT Scan that he will have done on

Wednesday at Cancer Treatment Centers of America.

t Pray for safety for Ella TenHarmsel’s cousin, Jill Martin, and her

husband, Dave, who are missionaries in the Ukraine. There has been

a lot of protest and violence in their neighborhood.

t Pray for guidance and wisdom for our church leaders.

Continued Prayer Requests: t For continued healing for all who have had recent illnesses, surgeries

and medical procedures.

t For the homebound: Mary Carmichael, Judy Blauwkamp, Kay Everett,

Nelvie VanKampen and Barb Kroll.

t For all marriages in the church - that those that are strained may be

restored and that the healthy marriages may grow even stronger.

t For all the singles in our church - that they would find friends at

church and the Lord would sustain them in their lonely moments.

DEDICATING YOUR CHILD OUR COMMITMENT

As Christian parents, we take seriously our responsibility to raise any children God entrusts to us in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. It is our desire to publicly declare that commitment, as a testimony of our complete dependence on the Wisdom found in God's Word, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, for success in our role as the parents and spiritual guardians of our children. We also pray that our public commitment to godly parenting will remind other parents of their great privilege and responsibility before God. We understand that no supernatural grace or benefit is imparted to our child through this dedication service, but rather we are pledging ourselves, as Christian parents, to exert every possible godly influence on this child; to demonstrate to him/her, by our godly example, the power and truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ; to endeavor to lead him/her to a saving faith in the Savior; and to faithfully teach our child the precious truths contained in the Word of God. We request the blessing and support of our Church Family to help us to “train up our child in the way he should go.” (Prov.22:6)

Get in shape with the Parkside Runners/Walkers! Join them

every Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at Mt. Pisgah for some exercise and

fellowship. The entrance to Mt. Pisgah is next to Dune Dogs on
