PT Sinar Metrindo Perkasa (Simetri) was founded in 1986 with the purpose of manufacturing high quality switchboards which conform with regulation and safety standard of government agencies or other organizations. Simetri manufactures high quality products which not only do give the highest efficiency and effectiveness in power distribution, but also give maximum safety.

Simetri has the meaning of balance or stability. Simetri in Indonesian language stands for ‘sinar’, ‘metal’, and ‘listrik’ which are the three cores of our business. Simetri logo takes the form of a circle which symbolizes the natural cycle of life. The cycle means that we work continuously for the better future of people and environment.

We work dilligently to gain the trust of customers by following our principles such as perseverance, commitment, fairness, accountability, and integrity. Guided by vision, mission, and philosophy from the founder, Simetri strives to be the best by providing quality products and satisfying services with reasonable price. Simetri also contributes to the development of people and environment.

Our electrical switchboard designs:

Simetri is able to manufacture electrical switchboard that has segregation level up to form 4B. It also manages to do complex duties using PLC (Programmable Logic Control), and comply with the IEC 60439-1 rules.

Free Standing Type

We have succeeded in making electricity from both genset and PLN to work in sync continuously or temporarily.

Automatic Main Failure (AMF) is an automation system inside generator panel which functions as a generator activator if the power from the PLN source cut off, and to turn off the generator when the power from the PLN returns.

We have experiences in dealing with more than 4 genset controller brands so we have the knowledge to give the best advice for our customers.

We are able to synchronize up to 6 gensets and also able to synchronize between genset and PLN (‘Back and Forward Synchron’).

1. Genset Control Switchboard


TYPES OF SIMETRIELECTRICAL SWITCHBOARD

Main distribution board protects and distributes electric power to sub panel or loads. Some features of our main distribution board:

Interlock system and interlock with coupler

Interlock system:A system that separates two different electric sources (PLN and a generator set) from flowing into each other.

Interlock with coupler: The coupler panel functions as a separator of two different electric sources, and also as a connector of the two different electric sources when they are required to work simultaneously.

2. LVMDP Switchboard


This electrical switchboard corrects the power factor so that the energy cost can be reduced.

The power factor correction controller can be programmed and has touch screen display.

3. Capacitor Switchboard


Controller and protector for power distribution to sub panels and loads such as hydrant, lighting, lift, etc.

4. Distribution Switchboard


Controlling the operational of water pump. We have experiences in manufacturing all types of pump controller.

5. Pump Switchboard


Simetri products must be inspected through strict quality control with the use of high tech and sophisticated testing devices.

We also have advantage over other switchboard manufacturers. For example, we use micro ohm meter instead of torque wrench to check the connection. They only use torque wrench so they will not be able to test the quality of the connection.

By using the high tech tools and devices to inspect the quality of our electrical switchboard, we commit to satisfy our customers.

QUALITY CONTROL


A few of our testing devices:


High VoltageInjectionUp to 2.5 kV. We use this device to make sure that our electrical switchboard has good isolation, and no leakage between phases. It can detect current leakage more accurately than regular megger device.

Micro OhmMeterThis device allows us to detect any problem with the busbar connection like overheating. We will be able to check the safety of contact points where the resistance should not be more than 50 micro ohm.

Insulation Resistance MeterWe use this device to indicate the condition of the insulation between two conductive parts. The higher the resistance, the better the condition of the insulation.

Primary CurrentInjectionUp to 3000 A. For testing circuit breaker, metering units, and current transformer on electrical switchboard.

Power QualityAnalyzerA device to measure the quality of power, harmonic, etc. And it also used to detect other interruptions.

ThermalImagerThis device is used to detect heat inside an operating electrical switchboard. It can detect any excessive heat.

We import and use high quality copper for busbar (99.9% pure copper). Main busbar is designed and produced based on proper capacity by a standard rated electric current. Main busbar support uses isolated distance by each voltage and sufficient mechanical strength. At short-circuit accident, the busbar is designed in a way to resist well at a given short-time current. Main busbar can be treated with color coded heat shrink isolator.

We use high grade steel plates with 2.0 mm thickness for free standing type, and 1.5 mm thickness for wall mounting type.

MATERIALS


Simetri guarantee a one year after sales service provided by our after sales service team which consists of 10 people. We have more after sales service staffs than that of other electrical switchboard manufacturers. This is our commitment to ensure customer satisfaction.

Since 1986, Simetri has contributed to numerous orphanages such as:

In Cikupa, Tangerang, Simetri analyzes the effect of the industrial waste to the surrounding area and works hard to prevent the industrial waste damaging the surrounding area. We try to decrease the CO2 output and other gas emission from our factory and offices. We follow the government regulations and try to minimize the waste that our factory produces everyday. Not only do we restrict the waste production to save money but also to protect environment as we know that energy will be scarcer in the future.

At Simetri offices, we also try to save on electricity and running water. We carefully allocate the use of paper for printing and photocopy. As a company that is based in a country where forests are main resources, we recognize the importance of preserving paper. Lots of paper waste will only increase the production of paper by cutting trees. It takes trees 10-20 years for them to grow until they are large enough to be cut.

Simetri cares about the employees as they are essential for the growth of a company. Building a good relationship and teamwork between employees will increase their happiness and commitment to the company. We also emphasize on their spiritual and emotional development as we fully understand that good employees should have sufficient morals to be able to succeed in life and spiritual world. We organize many different activities to increase their morale and productivity.
